Project Selling Well

The construction of Baltinas Made’s Camilla Residences is progressing well, with the Mount Street project expected to be completed within 12 months.

It is the company’s third development in this prestigious location, following Halo on Mount and 39 Mount Street, which is currently for sale.

A key feature of the $30 million project is the option for buyers to customise the apartments.

Architect Barry Baltinas said this was proving popular with buyers.

“Buyers love the benefits of apartment living but they were telling us they didn’t like the cookie-cutter approach to this type of housing; they wanted to be able to add a home office or a guest room or a wardrobe space and we can offer all of this,” he said.

“There are greater expenses involved in customisation as we have to go to the architect and builder for changes, but the upside is a home that fits your individual life.”

Mr Baltinas said 12 of the 17 apartments at Camilla Residence were sold, but there was still a limited time for buyers to customise floor plans, interiors and fixtures in the remaining homes.

Four apartments and one penthouse, with an exclusive roof terrace with swimming pool, chef’s kitchen, barbecue, lounge, dining and entertainment areas, are still available.

The development will include winter gardens – indoor/outdoor balconies enclosed for year-round use – basement storerooms for each apartment large enough to fit another car or be used as a hobby room, individual bike storage facilities, and delivery rooms with chilled and dry storage to handle online deliveries 24 hours a day.

Prices start from $855,000 and a display apartment can be viewed at Halo on Mount.
