Leading Perth architect and award-winning developer Barry Baltinas and wife Rebecca Frost, an interior designer and model – together with renowned hospitality consultant Gary Beadle – are the driving forces behind the vision for the West Australian-focused venue, Margot’s Bar & Cellar Door.

This intimate space will be created as a specialist bar and unique cellar door paying homage to, championing and educating patrons on premium WA-grown and produced wines, small batch spirits, craft beers and non-alcoholic beverages. The key focus will be on the promotion and branding of smaller, predominantly family-owned West Australian wineries and distilleries – in an environment with an essence of the `classic wine bars of yesteryear.

Margot’s will also meet a need in the market for a supportive, dedicated and exciting retail environment for local producers to connect with customers – one that is warm, inviting and architecturally-designed.

A selection of WA-produced food pairings will be on offer at Margot’s Bar & Cellar Door to cater to the contemporary culinary desires of consumers frequenting the greater entertainment and dining precinct.

Our vision is to make a positive, lasting contribution to the locality by enhancing the ever-growing diversity of the William St space and meeting the increasing desire of patrons to support quality WA businesses.

Our commitment is to provide a choice of WA products that are either currently not available at other local bars or general liquor outlets – the focus is on those with very limited present purchase options which will be handpicked to appeal to the area’s clientele. Margot’s will combine this with outstanding customer service and local knowledge, delivering a unique experience in an engaging, boutique space.
